These are observations from the checked sources, not a developer announcement of a new patch. We have not assigned a release number to them. The word “current” on this page refers to the dated check and should not be read as a promise that the live service cannot change afterward.
Why the official sources disagree
The official career data page still presents 25 careers, while the public data delivered by lagoslife.app contains 33 definitions. Likewise, the official homepage advertises five homes, but the current Lagos definitions include seven. These are official surfaces of the same game, with older descriptive material lagging behind the client.
The official homes data page has another scope difference: its list covers addresses across Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt. “Seven Lagos homes” therefore does not mean “seven homes in the entire game.” A count without a city label is easy to misread, especially when someone compares the marketing homepage with the full data catalogue.
Our jobs guide and houses guide label the scope of their tables. The jobs table includes city-specific careers. The seven-home comparison is specifically Lagos. Readers looking for Abuja Life or PH Life should check the relevant city and address rather than applying a Lagos rent to another city.
The source order we use
First, we use current in-game data when a value is visible and applicable to the situation. For this review, the numerical catalogue was inspected in the publicly delivered game-client data. This checks the definitions shipped to players; it does not mean we personally completed every career level or paid every rent in an account.
Second, we consult the official numerical tables for careers, homes and actions. These are useful structured references for salaries, prices, durations and requirements. Where a current client definition disagrees with an official table, we show the disagreement and use the client value in our comparison.
Third, we use the Google Play listing and official marketing pages for entry points and descriptive context. They help identify the Android app and explain supported ways to play. We do not let an older promotional count override a newer numerical definition. Third-party guides do not settle a conflict between official sources.
Salary changes: compare the same unit
A salary comparison only works if both figures refer to the same career level and payment unit. Our current jobs table describes base shift pay from the client definitions. It is not a monthly salary table and should not be multiplied into a guaranteed real-time daily income without considering the game schedule.
Tech Intern is a useful example because the two sources visibly disagree: ₦2,520 on the official data page versus ₦9,900 in the checked client. This log does not claim a particular percentage balance patch was announced. It records the two observations so you can see why our guide differs from an older screenshot or page.
Your character’s live display remains relevant. The official website describes policies that can affect economic values, and an individual action can have its own conditions. If your screen differs from the base table, record the career, level, displayed amount and date. Those details help distinguish a changed definition from a contextual modifier.
Housing changes: separate rent, move cost and starting cash
Mushin’s current Lagos definition has ₦2,400 weekly rent and ₦16,000 starting cash. Those fields describe different things. Starting cash is not a recurring housing payout and should not be treated as money earned by repeatedly moving into the same address.
The housing comparison also tracks room size and guest capacity because a more expensive home is not just a different rent number. Ikate Terrace and Magodo expand the checked Lagos catalogue beyond the five addresses named in older promotional copy. We list the individual figures in the housing guide instead of reducing the change to “new houses added today.”
A move should be decided using the cost shown at confirmation and the reserve you will have afterward. The money guide explains why using an old low rent alongside a new high salary can produce an unrealistic budget. Keep the values from one dated source comparison together.
Platform and save observations
The Android entry we checked is Lagos Life on Google Play, with package com.greatcallie.lagoslife and publisher GreatCallie. The primary play link in this hub remains lagoslife.app, while the official website also provides a browser entry. These links serve different access preferences without implying separate game economies.
The official FAQ says the same account shares a save between web and Android. It distinguishes that from guest play, where progress remains local to the device. Our download guide follows that distinction. We do not promise that merely opening another browser imports a guest character.
The official website currently describes the iPhone app as coming soon. A home-screen shortcut to the browser game is a useful access option, but it is not evidence that a native iPhone store release has happened. We will change that wording when a verified official entry supports it.
Weekly review method
The next scheduled editorial review is 17 October 2026. Each weekly pass should compare career identifiers and levels, Lagos home identifiers and rent, official data tables, entry links and code evidence. A changed count triggers a closer look at the individual additions or removals; it should not be fixed by editing a headline alone.
A reviewer should update the affected guide and this log together, preserve the previous observation in the history, and record the date of the new check. If a source cannot be reached, the old verification date stays visible. We do not automatically advance a date to make an unchecked article look fresh.
A code requires its own evidence of the reward and redemption method. The codes guide currently has no verified entries. Repeating an unverified string from another site would not become reliable merely because it appeared during the weekly review.
Frequently asked questions
Was a new Lagos Life patch released on 10 October?
This page records a source check on that date. We have not verified a corresponding developer patch announcement or release number.
Why does your jobs guide say 33 instead of 25?
The checked public game-client data contains 33 career definitions. The official career page and marketing copy still show the older count of 25.
Are there seven homes across the whole game?
No. Seven is the checked Lagos catalogue. The official housing table also contains addresses in Abuja and Port Harcourt, so its geographic scope is wider.
Which salary should I use if sources disagree?
Check your live game display first. Our tables use the current client’s base definitions and disclose differences from the official numerical pages.
How often is this log reviewed?
The editorial review cadence is weekly. A date changes only after a real check, and observations are not presented as developer patch notes without an announcement.
